Penha Longa
The Penha Longa course enjoys championship characteristics and beautiful panoramic views over the Sintra mountain range.The Atlântico is a fabulous 18-hole course that forms part of the Protected Landscape Area of Sintra and Cascais. It was designed to best take account of the steeply sloping terrain and some of the most excellent views of the surrounding landscape. The Mosteiro is a fabulous 9-hole course, offering a new alternative to the existing course. The Mosteiro is less undulating then the Atlântico course and so presents fewer difficulties for the player. This course requires high handicaps and challenges players with its fast greens and narrow fairways.

Founded in 1992 (18 holes) and 1995 (9 holes), the Golf Course Penha Longa, directed by Jason King, has two golf courses with championship caracteristics and beautiful panoramic views over the Sintra mountain range. The Atlântico course (18-hole), forms part of the Protected Landscape Area of Sintra and Cascais. It was designed to best take account of the steeply sloping terrain and some of the most excellent views of the surrounding landscape. The Mosteiro (9-hole) offering a new alternative to the existing course. The Mosteiro is less undulating then the Atlântico course and so presents fewer difficulties for the player. Design by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Golf Course Penha Longa has 18 holes (Par of 72) and 9 holes (Par of 35) with a length of 6.290 meter.
