Founded in 1936 (18 holes) and 1965 (9 holes), the Golf Course Estoril Golf Club, directed by Francisco Pinheiro, is a championship golf course, and has been here, since 1945, two of the most important tournaments in the Portuguese golfing calendar have been help frequently on this course: the Portuguese Open (20 times) and the International Amateur Championship (62 times). The Estoril Golf Club is a golf course with a panoramic view by the sea and the town of Estoril. The golf course is taking shape in the Atlantic coast with great access, just 30 minute drive from Lisbon.
Design by Mackenzie Ross and Frank Pennink, the Golf Course Estoril Golf Club has 18 holes (Par of 69) and 9 holes (Par of 68) with a length of 5.313 meter.
